Aspen Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: AZPN), a leading provider of software and services to the process industries, announced the appointment of Bill Griffin as Executive Vice President of Field Operations, overseeing all Global Sales and Services and reporting to President & CEO Antonio Pietri. Griffin brings to AspenTech more than 25 years of sales leadership, most recently as Vice President of Worldwide Named Accounts and Emerging Products at Autodesk.
At Autodesk, Griffin successfully managed global teams of more than 500
employees that were responsible for more than one billion dollars of annual revenue. During his tenure he formed the company’s Worldwide
Channels organization, initiated the first Inside Sales group and formalized the
Global Named Accounts team.
Prior to Autodesk, Griffin was with Xerox Corporation where he held sales, services and marketing positions of increasing responsibility, lastly in sales as a General Manager responsible for Worldwide Financial Services. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania.
Griffin begins his new role at AspenTech on February 8.
